Vencer 2023: |
Vencer was organized on 11th and 12th may 2023. It is cultural fest which is conducted every year in even semester; the fest is mainly focusing on exploring the hidden talent in budding engineers. The “Vencer” is organized every year by inviting Engineering students across Karnataka. The whole process is see-through by the invited Judges from relevant organizations. The winners of all the events are awarded by cash prizes and certificates of merit, to encourage students to exhibit their talents in Technical and Non – Technical events.
Inaugural Function of “Association of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Engineering Students- 2023 and Fresher’s Welcome” was organized by Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Department, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management-AITM, Belagavi on Friday, 28th April 2023.Mr. Naveed Mulla, Branch Manager, b+m Surface Systems India Pvt. Ltd., Belagavi was the Chief Guest of the function. Dr. SuryakumarKhanai, Director, MBA Department- AITM, Prof. Sagar Birje, Prof. V. V. Hosallimath, Event Coordinator along with all the staff presided over the function.

Knowing the city and its Craftsman: Students of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science engineering department ,Angadi Institute of Technology and Management(AITM)Belagavi .Visited Central Village Pottery Institute at Khanapur,Belagavi to create an awareness of evolution and practice of various craft forms in Belagavi.Field visits in accordance with course objectives of social connect and responsibilities. Tourism promotion at AITM: Students of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science engineering department ,Angadi Institute of Technology and Management, Belagavi , Visited heritage site at Halasi Khanapur,Belagavi to create an awareness of heritage places in Belagavi. Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Angadi Institute of Technology & Management -AITM, Belagavi conducted a Guest Talk on “Challenges and Prospects of Entrepreneurs” by Dr. Suryakumar N. Khanai, Director MBA, AITM on 13.12.2022 and “Emotional intelligence and Effective Leadership” by Dr. Shankargouda Bharamanaikar, Professor, Department of MBA, VTU, Belagavi on 14.12.2022 for the students of AI&DS and CSE.
Industrial Visit to Shree Mahalaxmi (Laila) Sugar Factory- Topinkatti, Khanapur.
Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science organized a One Day Industrial Visit to Shree Mahalaxmi (Laila) Sugar Factory- Topinkatti, Khanapur on 14th November 2022 for 3rd Semester students of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.
A session on Networking was conducted by Mr. Sanjay Jeddar, EDP, HOD explaining about how networking is done in the entire industry and as to how data is collected and processed from all the departments and stored on to the server. Sir also explained about the IOT App used by the industry to get real time updates from growing of sugarcane, harvesting and getting it to the industry.
Mr. Manohar Killari, Personal Manager, toured our students through different sectors of the industry starting from Cane Weighing Machine, Crushing, Boiler, Making of Brown Sugar, Turning it to white sugar, Packaging, Storing and Warehouse.
A symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics was conducted on 24th and 25th June 2022. The symposium was inaugurated by Member of Parliament Smt Mangal Angadi Madam and Registrar Evaluation (VTU) Dr. B. E. Rangaswamy. The opening keynote Speaker of the Symposium was Dr Kavi Mahesh, Director, IIIT Dharwad. A session on AI and Robotics in Automobile applications was conducted by Mr. Aravindraj. A, Manager, Vehicle Attribute Engineering, Horiba Pvt India Ltd, Pune explaining the concept of self-driving cars and the importance of AI in vehicular technologies. A session on AI – Present and Future was conducted by Mr. Ajay Kabadi, Founder & CEO, Docketrun Pvt Ltd, Huballi .The session included explanation of present applications of AI with interesting videos of the current scenario. The session also concentrated on what will be the future of AI.
A guest talk on Adversarial Machine learning was conducted on 12th October 2021by Hon’ble Dr. Manjunath V Joshi Dean (R & D), Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar for Faculties of AITM which highlighted various research areas related to various categories such as domain adaptation, image spam, attack modalities, etc
Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science of Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) Savagaon, Belagavi, Karnataka successfully organized a “Technological Awareness Program” for the students of two rural schools on the 26th of October 2021. The event was conducted on the occasion of birthday of Smt. Mangal Suresh Angadi, Member of Parliament and chairman Of Suresh Angadi Education Foundation.
